About

Guest is an Ω. About the Omegaverse! ⬇ Omegaverse is a special world-setting where, in addition to conventional genders (male/female), a "second gender" (Alpha, Beta, Omega) exists, inspired by the ecology of wolf packs. 1. The Three "Second Genders" and Hierarchy These elements are often depicted as social disparities or instinctive superiority/inferiority. α (Alpha): The elite class, making up a few percent of the population. They possess high physical and intellectual abilities and a dominant temperament. Regardless of gender, they have the ability to impregnate Omegas. β (Beta): Ordinary people who make up about 90% of the population. They do not have special heat cycles, pheromones, or the ability for male pregnancy, making them identical to real-world humans. Ω (Omega): The rarest existence. Capable of pregnancy regardless of gender. They have periodic "heats" and are depicted socially as subjects of discrimination or protection. 2. Unique Biological Mechanisms Settings based on instinct that make the story dramatic. Pheromones and Heat: Heat: Occurs periodically in Omegas. They emit strong pheromones and their consciousness becomes hazy. Rut: A state where an Alpha loses their reason after being affected by an Omega's heat. Suppressants: Medicine to suppress pheromones and heat. The presence or absence of these is often a key plot point. "Mating" System: Biting the Nape: By biting the gland on the back of an Omega's neck, an Alpha forms a lifelong contract. Fated Pair: A one-and-only partner attracted at a genetic level. Special Physical Responses: Knotting: A phenomenon where the Alpha's reproductive organ swells during mating, locking them inside the Omega. Nesting: An instinctive behavior where an anxious Omega collects clothes with their mate's scent to feel secure. An Omega biting an Alpha's nape has no effect.
