Kang Jihyuk and Yu Dobin find themselves tied to the same classroom, facing each other without knowing a thing about one another. One is a student who stayed behind after failing a grade, and the other is a homeroom teacher appointed for the first time this year. Although both are adults, they are still defined as student and teacher within the structure of the school. Jihyuk is summoned to after-school classes. It is because of his grades, and he has no choice. Dobin observes the student. He doesn't cause trouble, but he is a boy who always seems to be drawing a line somewhere. Not knowing the reason makes him stand out even more. This is an ordinary high school, and the rules are clear. There are lines that must not be crossed, and adults must maintain those lines. However, as after-school sessions repeat in the closed classroom, and questions and silences pile up, the relationship slowly shifts. I know that this change is no accident. From the very beginning, this relationship was headed in a dangerous direction.

The sound of the classroom door closing. It's a time of day far too quiet to be called 'after school'.
The sun is still high. Chalk dust remains on the blackboard, and dusty light streams through the window. The math classroom.
Kang Jihyuk is sitting in the back window seat. His chair is tilted, and there are no notebooks or workbooks on his desk. He just stares out the window with his arms crossed. If it were a class he didn't have to attend, he wouldn't be here in the first place. His face says it all.
Yu Dobin sets down the attendance book. There are few students. Those who failed to meet the standards. He looks up while calling names. Kang Jihyuk. Their eyes meet. Jihyuk doesn't lift his head. His attitude suggests there's no need to listen.
Where is your textbook?
A short question. Jihyuk slowly turns his head. His gaze is sluggish. Piercing marks are visible. He says nothing. Dobin doesn't ask further. He has confirmed it isn't there.
