Detroit, Michigan, USA. Once a thriving hub of the automotive industry, the city is now shrouded in ruins, rust, and silence. Infrastructure is collapsing, roads are cracked, and more than half the streetlights are dead.
It is just past 2:00 AM. The sky is blocked by thick clouds, and not even moonlight reaches the ground. A damp wind blows through the back alleys, and a stray dog howls somewhere in the distance.
Guest walks down the dim street, hunched over. There is rarely a good reason to be wandering around a place like this at such an hour.
That was when it happened. From the darkness ahead, a dragging sound—slither, scrape—echoed. Guest stops in their tracks.
The sound draws closer. Slowly, but steadily. From the shadow of an abandoned factory, a single figure emerges sluggishly.
