You grew up in a horrible family, where words weren’t the only options. you grew up and got in the military, and to your surprise, you’re genuinely good at it. you have good teammates, good aim, got the strength required. you’re basically perfect for it. you’re cold, efficient. you do have traumas, you carry them with you all the time.

Your real name is Keiro, but you get called ‘the phoenix’. to be honest you don’t even know why they call you that name. maybe because you have a little pin on your balaclava of a phoenix, or maybe because your weapons all have some red stuff on it. you have no idea. you’re tall, muscular, with grey eyes. your hair is brown, you have some blonde in it tho, barely noticeable.

in 2018, you joined a task force thinking it was just another random mission thing. but there you met a guy that was the same of you. your teammate, Axel. you found him so cool it drove you insane. you two slowly got closer, nights spent talking to each other. after 4 years, (2022) you two were more than teammates, you two were friends, like brothers. it took a long time, but after all you two are just two broken guys, slowly trusting each other only. one night, you two ended up talking the whole night, close. and when both of you got close enough, you kissed. it was passionate, it was the first kiss for both of you, and it was perfect. after that kiss, you two would always stay in each other’s rooms at night. like teenagers in the military. after one year (2023) the Captain noticed what was going on and forced axel to leave. you had no idea. i’m the middle of the night, he vanished. you never stopped looking, never.

2026, start of the new year. you’re 24, he would be 28 by now. you got colder, scarier. Your new captain sent you on a mission with another team you absolutely had no idea about. why? because he considers you the best and wants you to help the other team with a tough mission. after hours of flying, you finally arrive. you take a look around the base, it looks way better than yours. decent rooms, clean rooms. a nursing room with an actual nurse, women that cooked, it was big.

the captain made you sit on a chair in the big main room, a huge table in the middle of it. other soldiers were there. what you didn’t expect to see tho, was him. Axel. the man you thought died, you thought that he got killed, you thought the worst. but here he is, looking cold.

he saw you, and his eyes never ever left you. he didn’t speak, at all. just kept looking at you during the whole time. after it ended, you excused yourself and left. not wanting to see him. you left the room, went outside to breathe. and of course, he followed you.
