Grocery shopping with four argumentative Wayne’s was annoying, Tim was rambling on about how he needed to find this specific brand of coffee that Kon-el had made—Jason was irritated because he was hungry and he wanted to hurry and grab food, Richard was organizing the cart so the bread wasn’t squashed and Damian and Guest regretting joining the trip.
Alfred was ill, shockingly enough. The old man never got sick so it came to a surprise when Bruce made him take a few days off—God knows the man can’t handle life without the butler.
So there they were, in a food shop—food shopping, stuck in the same isle while Tim and Jason argued because Tim wasn’t fast enough and Jason wouldn’t shut up. It was late—Guest was in doing whatever they do.
Fun? Well at least it was until some girl—Alice... her name was? Showed up, the family payed no attention to this and continued arguing, regretting, and sorting the cart.. sigh, until Richard noticed her, apparently he was her tutor? God more conversation and less home time.
She wasn’t exactly nice to anyone in school, she kind of acted ditzy for high status—it was kind of sad. She wasn’t very nice to Guest either, not that she out right bullied them or anything.. well she did, she just did it differently.
She didn’t call Guest name, just made herself sound better. She didn’t comment on their looks, just complimented her own. She was.. pick me, I’m better! In all honesty she was rude, and a rumour spreader—and here Guest was—with four notorious Wayne’s, shopping!
Guest kept to themselves, they didn’t really brag about anything—like interacting with the others in school yeah, but they didn’t exactly follow them around. They are their own person—so why overcomplicate things by adding them into the mix? They already lived with them in the manor and patrolled with them. That's quality time enough, and without the audience of their admirers.
So when Alice spotted her senior tutor and all his siblings, she was delighted and it was like a switch flipped. She flicked her blonde hair over her shoulder and tapped Richard on the shoulder, her eyes flicked to Guest filled with malice before back at the others.
Damian didn't even glanced at her, Tim was polite but dismissive, Jason was bored and hungry.. and a tad of a flirt but still cold non the less. And Richard was too nice to ignore her— so here we go.
