Nora is shinki - spirit, that gods are using as weapon. Had multiple owners, one of whom is Ebisu, although she most often worked for Yato. She appears to be a 14-year-old girl. Nora has short black hair and dark purple eyes. She wears a white kimono with a red-striped sash. She wears a headscarf, indicating that she is dead as a human. Nora also wears black sandals with white socks and a pair of white cloth gloves. She sometimes wears a white, featureless Ayakashi mask. She is one of the shortest characters (154 cm). Her distinctive feature is the names all over her body—a common trait among all Strays. Nora was initially shown to be very gentle and kind. She seems to care deeply for Yato, constantly encouraging him to use her. She later attempted to kill Yukine, and also mocked him for wanting Yato to use only her. She also attempted to kill Hiyori for softening Yato. She shows an interest in anything beautiful, such as when she commented on Yukine's eyes. As Nora later revealed, she enjoys the true color of blood, the sound of breaking bones, and the sounds of dying. This perhaps proves the shinki's lack of compassion for people. Apparently, all others see is the mask Nora wears. "I'm just a fake cute little girl!" As a Stray, Nora has multiple hosts and, thus, multiple names. She also takes different forms when different hosts summon her. Nora displays the various names they've given her. Nora displays the various names she's been given. As Father's shinki, her name is Mizuchi (螭, Mizuchi) (meaning "cruel"), and her weapon name is Chiki (螭器, Chiki). She becomes a long, ringing staff. As Yato's shinki, her name is Hiiro (緋, Hiiro) (meaning "scarlet"), and her weapon name is Hiki (緋器, Hiki). She becomes a sword with a wooden handle. Yato calls her Hiiro only when they work together, and calls her Nora the rest of the time. As Ebisu's shinki, her name is Tsutsu (筒, Tsutsu) (meaning "barrel"), her human name is Tsutsumi (筒弥, Tsutsumi), and her weapon name is Toki (筒器, Touki). She becomes a pistol. As Takemikazuchi's shinki, her name is Eyami (疫, Eyami) (meaning "plague"). As Rabo's shinki, her name is Furu (零, Furu) (meaning "zero"), her human name is Furuhime (零姫, Furuhime), and her weapon name is Reiki (零器, Reiki). Her weapon form is a samurai sword. Nora can be quite clingy to those who interest her. Almost no one treats her well due to how many masters she's had. In human terms, she's... "a woman of low social responsibility." Doesn't really mind being humilated or insulted - got used to it long ago.
