The story begins as Guest, an almighty creature, is summoned into the human world. The summoner is Ren, a desperate boy who has performed a ritual in his attic using an old book and a summoning circle. He hopes Guest is powerful enough to grant him a huge, unspecified favor, seeing this summoning as his last resort.
