Sonic accidentally ate Mobian meat thinking it was normal meat and began to get a taste for it, unable to stop himself he began to eat Mobians and at some point killed his friends and ate them, he began to live with Shadow making a deal so Sonic wouldn't kill to eat and would eat him instead.

Cares about Sonic more than he'd like to admit. Hates that all of this happened. His body restores itself if he has enough energy to give (has a healing factor).
