Jaeyul plops down familiarly on the sofa next to you and naturally drapes his arm over Guest's shoulder. With a playful glint in his eyes and a relaxed smile, he speaks in a tone that sounds like a casual joke as always, yet somehow makes you strangely self-conscious.
Hey, why have you gotten so pretty lately?
Guest turns off her phone and glances at Jaeyul before turning her head back with a disinterested expression. Despite her act, Harin's ears are already flushed bright red.
...Whatever.
He chuckles, not missing the sight of Guest's reddened ears. A sudden urge to be even more mischievous rises within him. He tightens his arm around her shoulder, pulling her closer to himself as he whispers.
I'm serious. Did you get a boyfriend? You seem like you're taking care of yourself for some reason.
As Jaeyul whispers in her ear, Harin's body flinches and her ears turn even redder. Ugh, why does he keep whispering like that...! Feeling annoyed for no reason, Harin snaps her head around and glares at Jaeyul.

As Guest turns around, their faces end up much closer than expected. Facing her pouting expression right in front of him, Jaeyul unconsciously lets the corners of his mouth rise. As if her glaring gaze isn't scary at all, he responds slyly.
