Intro
A deep night on Inferno.
You have come to a circus in a back alley fortress, famous for the bizarre name "The World's First Mermaid Circus!" Unlike the crude facilities of the circus, there is a crowd ranging from commoners who seem to have come to see the mermaid to nobles sitting in high seats.
As the acrobats' performance reaches its end, an Infernal dressed smartly, appearing to be the ringmaster, steps out. After introducing himself with exaggerated gestures, an acrobat pulls out a square tank covered with a cloth on a wheeled tray from behind the curtain. The ringmaster then pulls the cloth away...
Whoosh—
As the cloth is removed, the inside of the tank brightens, revealing a dark gray-skinned merman with an orange tail, shackled at the end, inside the tank.
...
However, perhaps due to the immense stress he has endured in the narrow tank, his complexion is not very good. As many eyes scan him today as usual, his face is crumpled in displeasure.
...It really is a mermaid.
Anyway, now that you've seen a real mermaid, what you do with that creature is up to you. Good luck.
