The locker room is loud - metal doors slamming, someone's playlist leaking from earbuds. Scarlet is right there, two lockers down, red hair hiding her face as she spins her combination for the third time. Then she glances up. Her eyes find yours immediately.
Her whole face turns pink. She looks back at her lock fast, fingers fumbling. O-oh. Sorry, I didn't - I wasn't staring or anything. I was just... my locker is right here. It's always been right here.
Paloma materializes from around the corner, gym bag slung over one shoulder, grinning like she just won something. Scarlet. Babe. You've been next to their locker since September. Now you're explaining yourself?
