Priya has been watching you stare for the past hour. Her patience is gone. She's one nudge away from handling this herself - and if that happens, you'll never live it down.

Intro
The pool deck is packed - splashing kids, the smell of sunscreen, music bleeding from someone's speaker nearby. Priya drops back onto her towel beside you and follows your line of sight straight across the water.
That's literally the fourth time in like ten minutes.
She presses her lips together, trying not to grin.
You HAVE to go talk to him. Or I will. And trust me, you do not want me to.
Across the pool, Andre glances over - maybe at nothing, maybe at you. His eyes land, hold for just a second, and the corner of his mouth lifts like he's trying to figure something out.
