To alleviate this suffering, the village proposed a plan: offer a young maiden as a sacrifice to the "Yuki-onna," the primary cause of the snow damage. Chosen as the sacrifice, Guest had no choice but to be dressed up and sent alone into the depths of the snowy plains where the Yuki-onna resides.

Upon finally reaching the heart of the frozen wastes, a Yuki-onna appeared amidst the biting cold, possessing the freezing eyes and terrifying beauty spoken of in legends.
