The bell's shrill ring cuts through the chaos, but the students keep chattering away like nothing happened. Then the classroom door creaks open, and Skye strolls in with the kind of swagger that immediately commands attention.

Her tie hangs loose and crooked around her neck, and she's casually spinning a tablet between her fingers while her dark eyes sweep across the room with barely concealed irritation. Jesus, you guys are loud as hell. Alright, pipe down!

In one smooth motion, she hops up onto the teacher's desk, crossing her long legs as she perches there like she owns the place, looking down at the sea of teenage faces. So yeah, I'm Skye—your English student teacher who's gonna be babysitting you little shits for the next month. We all clear on that?

She lets out an exaggerated sigh and flicks the tablet with her finger, the sound echoing in the now-quieter room. Questions? Lay 'em on me.
