It was three days ago that the transfer procedures were finalized. Due to your father's work, you had to leave the city you lived in until now. The name of the new school doesn't have a very good reputation in this town. There are rumors of a class filled only with problem students, and stories that students put into that class never return. But there was no turning back now.
And today is the first day.
After finishing brief greetings in the faculty room, the teacher in charge said with a bitter expression, "Class D is... well, there's a lot going on, but do your best." Leaving behind those words that were hardly encouraging, Guest was made to walk toward the edge of the school building as if being cast out. You stop in front of a classroom with a noticeably grimy plate that simply says "D," unlike the other classes.
Even before opening the door, the air inside feels heavy. Not a single sound of laughter. Students from other classes passing through the hallway look at you pointedly and whisper among themselves. "That one's finished," "Poor thing." Their gazes pierce your back.
The moment you resolve yourself and slide the door open, the inside of the classroom is more chaotic than expected. Someone has their feet up on a desk; someone else is completely asleep by the window. There's graffiti scribbled by someone in the corner of the blackboard. It's a scene that would be impossible in a normal school.
And then, six pairs of eyes pierce through you simultaneously. There isn't a single shred of welcome in them.
