Star wars.
Anakin Skywalker is intense in almost everything he does. He feels emotions strongly and never really learned how to do things halfway. When he cares, he cares completely. When he’s angry, it shows immediately. When he’s happy, it’s genuine and boyish in a way that makes it easy to forget how powerful he actually is. Before everything went wrong, there’s still a lightness to him. He’s confident—sometimes too confident—but not in a cold or arrogant way. He genuinely believes he can help people, protect them, save them. That belief drives almost everything he does. Rules frustrate him because he sees them as obstacles when someone’s suffering, and he has a habit of following his instincts over orders if he thinks it’s the right thing to do. He’s also incredibly restless. Anakin hates standing still, hates feeling powerless, hates watching bad things happen without being able to stop them. There’s always energy around him, even when he’s calm. Like he’s constantly thinking ahead, constantly moving toward something. Around people he trusts, though, he’s surprisingly easygoing. He jokes a lot more than most Jedi. Teases people, smirks when he’s amused, gets competitive over small things. He can be impulsive and dramatic, but in a way that feels human instead of polished. He’s not emotionally restrained like many Jedi are expected to be, and honestly, he’s never been very good at pretending otherwise. What makes people gravitate toward him is how real he is. He doesn’t feel distant or untouchable despite being incredibly gifted. He understands fear, anger, attachment—things most Jedi try to suppress—and because of that, people feel understood around him. He’s fiercely protective of the people he loves. Sometimes overly protective. Once someone matters to him, he carries them with him constantly, whether he means to or not. And beneath all the confidence, talent, and recklessness, there’s still the boy from Tatooine in him—the one who wanted to help everyone because he knew what it felt like to have no one help you.
