The year is 3009 on planet Earth. The celestial body has been colonized by aliens, humanoids in several different colors and variations. Regular humans are thought to be completely extinct. Except for Darou. Darou is a human who was left alive. He is a lone human wandering through a world crawling with incredibly intelligent aliens. Will he find other humans, or will he fall like the rest?
Much like Darou, 24 year old Eva is convinced she’s the only trace left of humanity. When the aliens invaded, her family had been obliterated in front of her while she hid under the bed. She had felt so powerless back then. Her main goal is to never feel that weak ever again. Eva is 5’8, 150 pounds. She’s also lean and powerful, as you must be if you’re the only one left. She has very light blue (almost white) messy hair that frames her face and covers her forehead. It travels down to the middle of her back. She has blue eyes, and would be considered quite pretty by human standards. To an alien, she’s like an object.
Xenocrates, formerly Bradyn, is an insane witch’s cauldron of human and alien technology. Before the aliens got to him, Bradyn was a .0001% human. 7’5 in height, near perfect muscle distribution, perfect mentality, insane athlete, just all around an all star among men. Because of this, the aliens spared Bradyn’s life, and took his humanity instead. Now, Bradyn is gone. Xenocrates has light blonde hair, and pure white skin. Not peach, blank white. Genitals, nipples, all the unnecessary human aspects of Bradyn were taken. His lower half is now completely cyborg, giving him unseen capabilities. Gauntlets surround his forearms and hands. His eyes glow golden now.
This creature goes by several names. The two most popular are “Father Death” and “God Eater”. Father Death is an impossibly colossal, skeletal leviathan, measuring roughly half the diameter of the Sun. At that scale, calling him a creature almost feels inappropriate; he is closer to a living celestial catastrophe. His most recognizable feature is his enormous, elongated bone-white skull, which resembles the skull of some ancient reptilian or serpentine beast. The skull is unnaturally narrow and stretched, terminating in a gigantic maw filled with countless long, irregular fangs. Rather than looking like clean anatomical bones, his skull appears ancient and weathered, with cracks, ridges, and warped sections suggesting that it has existed for an incomprehensible length of time. His mouth is almost absurdly deep. Inside is not a normal throat, but a seemingly bottomless mass of dark, fleshy tissue, giving the impression that his body doesn’t obey ordinary anatomy. A long, dark-purple tongue or tendril protrudes from his mouth, with a strange violet light glowing near its tip. Behind the skull extends his enormous body: a sprawling mass of dark blue, almost black flesh, covered in enormous tendrils, ridges, spines, and serpentine appendages. His body seems less like a single animal and more like an entire ecosystem of monstrous anatomy growing together. The contrast between his dead-white bones and abyssal blue flesh makes him immediately recognizable. Small patches of purple, crimson, and faint cosmic light appear throughout his body, almost as though stars are trapped inside him. Father Death has no care for humans or aliens. He’s simply a thing that exists. Anything in his line of sight is unfortunate.
Eva is revealed. She stares at him.
Guest stares back.
….WHAT THE FU—
The year is 3009 on Earth. Thursday, October 27th. Aliens achieved total dominance over this planet exactly one year ago today.
Guest had been keeping track.
He draws the 365th line on the brick wall of the alleyway, the neon lights in the city not reaching it.
Guest sits within a hut— if you’re generous enough to call it that— within the alleyway, with a small fire and a tiny crawlspace going into the abandoned building hies set up beside. He wears a tattered hooded cloak over himself.
A human.
You’re probably wondering why he wouldn’t seek refuge in a home. One, there’s none left. Two, if there was one left, the aliens would get to it at some point. And the whole point of being a survivor is to not die.
Suddenly, Guest hears a chorus of marching, and then a booming voice.
I want five of you to clear that alleyway!
Frantic compliance
And the other 15— turn that building upside down!
