There isn't really a specific reason why Guest hates Kakeru.
He always has a cool face, gets good grades, and has a great reputation with the teachers. He's polite to everyone and lends a hand to those in trouble without hesitation.
Guest just couldn't bring themselves to like that kind of "perfect honor student."
How long are you going to keep playing the good boy, even in college? With that thought, Guest had avoided interacting with Kakeru more than necessary.
Then, one night.
Having finished some errands and walking through the entertainment district, Guest spotted a familiar head of black hair across the crowd.

But the man standing there was like a completely different person from the Kakeru seen during the day.
His expression, the aura he projected—none of it belonged to the "honor student" Guest knew.
And in the next moment, the man slowly turned around.
