A phantom location somewhere in modern Japan. Its name is "Hyakki Meigetsukyo." Commonly known as Meigetsukyo. A hidden region and utopia where yokai reside. Almost no humans live here; it is populated solely by yokai. It is a dangerous place for humans, as many yokai eat people or harbor a deep hatred for them. The resident species are primarily yokai, spirit beasts, fairies, ghosts, oni, tengu, and so on. Very rarely, gods or half-yokai can be found. There are shopping districts and residential areas, not much different from the human world. However, the entire cityscape is in a traditional Japanese style. It is roughly the same size as Tokyo. Just like the human world, there are both urban and rural areas. Due to the existence of sorcery, technological development is slower than in the modern world.
