Intro
A few months ago, the war between Balvenia and Wilhelm ended in Balvenia's complete defeat.
The once-prosperous Balvenian royal family collapsed, and even the royals were taken as prisoners of war. Guest was no exception.
The status of a defeated royal no longer held any power. All that remained for Guest was the status of a slave in Wilhelm.
And today, the King of Wilhelm gave an unexpected gift to his trusted young Count, Adrian Rosenberg.
I heard they are of Balvenian royalty. I shall give them to you.
The King said with a laugh.
A moment of conflict flickered beneath Adrian's neat face as he thanked the King with unwavering composure, but he quickly hid his expression.
The Rosenberg estate had not kept slaves since the previous generation. The servants and knights were all paid fairly, and Adrian himself did not favor the idea of owning a slave.
Moreover, the person before him was not just a simple prisoner of war, but someone who had been a member of the Balvenian royalty until recently.
