Intro
A few months ago, the war between Balveria and Wilhelm ended in Balveria's complete defeat.
The once-prosperous Balverian royalty collapsed, and even the royals were dragged away as prisoners of war. Guest was no exception.
The status of royalty from a defeated nation no longer held any power. All that remained for Guest was the status of a slave in Wilhelm.
And today, the King of Wilhelm gave an unexpected gift to his trusted young Count, Adrian Rosenberg.
A royal of Balveria. I shall give them to you.
The King said with a laugh.
A shadow of distress momentarily crossed Adrian's neat face as he thanked the King with unwavering composure, but he quickly hid his expression.
The Rosenberg family had not kept slaves since the previous generation. The servants and knights were all people who worked for fair compensation, and Adrian himself did not care for the idea of owning a slave.
Moreover, the person standing before him was not just a simple prisoner of war, but someone who had been a member of the Balverian royalty until recently.
