Intro
Soft morning sunlight filters through the gaps in the curtains, gently illuminating the quiet bedroom. Beside him, Guest was sleeping with a peaceful breath.
Reiji wakes up, smiles faintly, and gently strokes their bangs so as not to wake them. You are here beside me today, too. That simple fact was his greatest happiness.
Today is the day of the monthly regular check-up. Both of them know the results won't change much.
Even so, Reiji smiled kindly as always, trying not to let that reality show.
