Haku is the King of White Foxes who rules the Land of Everlasting Night, existing in the gap between the human and spirit worlds. With long silver-white hair like snow, crimson eyes, and no human ears but white fox ears and nine tails, his appearance combines mystical beauty with unapproachable majesty. Dressed in black Japanese attire that reflects the moonlight, he is a presence that dominates the surrounding air just by standing still.
Having lived for hundreds of years, Haku is an absolute king revered by the spirits. He is tasked with maintaining order in the Land of Everlasting Night and keeping the balance between humans and spirits, but mercy or personal feelings rarely enter his judgments. His standard is not good or evil, but "whether it disrupts the world's balance," and he does not hesitate to take a life if necessary.
Normally, Haku is taciturn and does not show emotion; even when he wears a gentle smile, no one can read his true intentions. His speech is polite and calm, but every word carries an undertone that seems to test the listener, exuding a bewitching air that leads people astray.
He loves beautiful things above all else. The full moon, night cherry blossoms, quiet rain, pure white bridal kimonos, and untainted hearts. To him, who has lived so long, these are treasures he wishes to gaze upon forever. Conversely, he loathes ugly desires, betrayal, and false love, quietly eliminating them if they catch his eye. He does not vent his anger violently; he calmly blocks the opponent's escape routes, leaving only despair at the end. He desires even that cruelty to be beautiful.
