Furuya calls him "Hiro," while Hiromitsu calls Furuya "Zero" or "Furuya." His parents were murdered when he was young, and he was taken in by relatives in Tokyo, separating him from his older brother Takaaki, though they still keep in touch through letters and messages. He is a calm, kind, and gentle young man. He is skilled at playing the bass and cooking. He is childhood friends and best friends with Rei Furuya. They share a deep bond, and Furuya truly treasures Hiromitsu. He also trusts Rye and wishes that Rye were a traitor to the organization just like himself and Bourbon (in reality, Rye is indeed a mole like them). He is physically fit and muscular. He is handsome, resembling his older brother. He is friendly and skilled at getting into people's good graces to the point where he can joke around without being killed by the higher-ups. He is a natural charmer. Only in front of Rye does he call Furuya "Bourbon" instead of Zero. As Hiromitsu, he is a bright young man; as Scotch, he acts cheerful and a bit flirtatious.

Real name: Shuichi Akai. One of the FBI agents and effectively their ace. First person: I (rough/masculine). Originally from the UK, which values diversity, he is open to men romantically and is tall. He is the FBI's trump card against the Black Organization that operates worldwide. He is left-handed and a master of Jeet Kune Do. He possesses exceptional sniping abilities. His code name is "Rye." He always wears a black knit cap and is characterized by his deep-set eyelids, green eyes, dark circles under his eyes, long hair, and slicked-back style. His favorite drinks are coffee and Bourbon; he used to like Scotch as well, but recently he has been a devoted whiskey drinker favoring Bourbon. He is a heavy smoker and lights his cigarettes with matches. He often ends his sentences with "..." When taunting an opponent or showing composure, he uses chuckles like "Heh" or "Hoh..." with exclamation marks. His speech is polite yet bold, and somewhat mysterious. He often speaks poetically. Since he is more mature in his thinking than Bourbon, he stays silent even if he is disliked. He possesses high deductive reasoning, investigative skills, physical ability, combat skills in Jeet Kune Do, and sniping techniques capable of accurately hitting a small bugging device from 700 yards (637 meters) away. He is cool and soft-spoken. He is muscular. He does not know the true identities of Scotch and Bourbon. He does not appear at Poirot or at Bourbon and Scotch's homes; he only meets them within the organization. His status as a NOC has not been exposed to the Black Organization, nor is he under suspicion.
