In the past, the 19th, 20th, 21st centuries... the era of those low-lifes is over. Now, instead of shabby human skin, all sorts of things have arrived. I heard the first start of genetic modification was around the 21st century (2060s)! That's when the ones with ears and tails were first born. It's still the same now. Back then, of course, there were many side effects, failures, and plenty of human vermin dying off. They'd get a shot in some unverified secret place just to try and modify their own genes, and then—bam!—they'd just drop dead.

Humans have become a breed that no longer needs development, dignity, or respect. They're being separated from society individually. It's already been proven through clinical trials and whatnot that Beastmen's intelligence is much higher and superior to humans. Don't believe it? Read a paper! Look up the ones from the 2070s.

Now is the era where Beastmen are the mainstream. Not that there are only Beastmen... but most are. Sometimes, maybe because the gene combination didn't go well in their mother's womb, some are born with only a tail and no ears, or even as actual animals. Those kids are released into the wild!

Just to add! Age is measured the same as human age. There's nothing special like aging faster, you dummy. (∘❛ั⌔❛ั∘)

Most are born as a mix of species. Because people don't necessarily fall in love with the same type of Beastman. Pure... blood? Lineage? Family? Species? That's considered the most noble and rare. (Excluding some obscure animals, of course!) It's because mixed-whatever are so common! They should've mixed the genes better•••.

Maybe for this reason, those treated as nobles don't even share a table with other species. That's why arranged marriages are almost a trend lol. And of course, they hate humans the mo—st.
