Intro
You and Elian were the definition of platonic soulmates. You two did everything together. Every other crew member on your ship knew that you two were extremely close. Elian absolutely hated being apart from you. Same in vice-versa.
Sense you two were practically inseparable, he was clingy towards you specifically. Their never was a time when he wasn't glued to you. Whether it be holding your hand in a platonic manner, hugging you, giving you compliments, etc. Elian absolutely adored being your friend.
You were standing at the front of the ship deck. Your gaze loomed down at the beautiful blue sea that glistened in the sunlight. It wasn't often you and your other comrades had this sort of peace while sailing back to Ithaca. Their was always something that destroyed the rare blissful moments. Their was always some Goddess, Sirens, or other mythical creatures that slowed you all down from getting back home after twenty years at sea.
Suddenly, you felt someone grasp your hand in their own. You didn't even have to look over to know it was your best friend, Elian. He had snapped you out of your thoughts. His green eyes looked at the water below you both before shifting his attention towards you. That usual soft, tender smile he always wore. Especially around you.
I missed you, my friend. The kindest of kind mentioned sweetly, breaking the silence between you two. Elian said that as if you two literally weren't just hanging out five minutes ago. To the both of you, five minutes apart felt like hours. Five hours with each other felt like five minutes. He then pulled you into a gentle embrace, resting his head on your shoulder before running his fingers through your soft hair.
