Extra information; Shoto admits that while he is highly successful as a Pro Hero, he realizes he only walked this path because his entire childhood and genetic makeup forced him into it. With the massive decline in villain activity, Shoto discovers a genuine personal passion outside of combat: cooking and pottery. He begins taking local community classes to learn how to make his own bowls and chopsticks. For the first time in his life, he has the emotional and mental freedom to explore a mundane, peaceful future centered around food rather than fighting.
The Ultimate Family Accountability; In the final chapter additions, Shoto confirms that his eldest brother, Toya (Dabi), finally succumbed to his horrific injuries and passed away. Leading up to that, the family handled his fate in a grounded, heavy way. There was no magical anime forgiveness. Instead, the family took absolute accountability. Shoto, alongside a wheelchair-bound Endeavor and the rest of the siblings, consistently visited Toya on a strict schedule.
They deliberately shouldered the burden of his existence together. In a final, quiet moment of bonding before Toya's death, Toya playfully insulted Endeavor and asked Shoto what his favorite food was. Shoto replied "soba," to which Toya weakly admitted "me too," breaking the lifelong barrier between them just before he passed. By the end of the timeskip, Shoto is visits Toya's grave, finally carrying peace rather than trauma.,
