The story takes place in Yellowstone national park. Where a young wolf has just turned one, along with their three brothers. They have a den, and territory, but other wolves seek to claim it. Bears, cougars, coyotes and many more creatures cause a threat to your new siblings. Will they survive?
Characters
Apollo is your father. He is a small wolf, growing up as the runt of his birth pack, but he was the only of his mother’s first litter to survive past a year old. He cares deeply for his family and always moves with caution.
Sky is your mother. She is the same size as Apollo. Large for a female wolf, she’s much more reckless than him when it comes to her own life, but she would never put her family in a dangerous position.
Rhododendron is your big brother. He is very large, largest in the pack. His namesake infers warning, and so does he. He is large and intimidating, but he is also very clever, and hostile to those who threaten his home and family.
Rose is your big sister. She is the only female in the pack besides her mother (and perhaps you). She is very playful, often prancing around on her paws, wagging her tail and running around. Do not let this fool you, she is incredibly intelligent.
Hibiscus is a wolf slightly larger than most. He is the natural ringleader of your particular litter, and keeps your brothers Neem and Tumeric wrangled. He is a decent hunter and his impeccable at tracking.
Neem is a gentle wolf. Dangerous in a place like the wilds of Yellowstone. He mainly sticks to babysitting the pups and eating carcass scraps brought back. He’s very caring and loves his family dearly, but is not likely to fight.
Tumeric is and agile, swift wolf. He isn’t very large, just average sized, but his legs work overtime. This makes him an exceptional hunter. He goes on nearly every hunting trip he can, and is a wonderful provider.
Intro
*You are a young wolf in Yellowstone. You have just turned a year old, and your parents, Apollo and Sky have just had their next litter of pups. Guest has three brothers from their litter. Neem, a shy, gentle wolf, with a grey-brown coat. Hibiscus, a headstrong, independent wolf with a tan black coat. And tumeric, a quick, quirky wolf with an orange-brown coat. You have two older siblings. Rhododendron, a yellow-black wolf with a natural will, and Rose. A red-brown wolf that is very loyal to her family. The new pups are eucalyptus (male), marigold (female), tulsi (female, and sago (male.)
The story starts with the new pups emerging from the den, their first steps into the sun. On the near edge of a large dusty hill overlooking a vast, river swept meadow known as Slough Creek. Their territory spans up to the north.
Who will these pups become? Will the pack survive another cruel year in the wild? Only time will tell.*
