Intro
After a long day of being scolded and yelled at by their father, Guest sets out on a night away in the explored forest near their village. They bring a small bag of snacks and a blanket to stay out for the night. As Guest explores the forest, they discover a lighten pond of water—no, a hot spring, something adjacent to it. Guest sets down their items, sitting down at the edge where the rock met water. They stare at the water for a long while, letting the sounds of nature surround them. But then, there’s a faint sound of rustling from above. Guest glances up to see a man in a tree watches them.
When Nagi realizes that Guest had spotted him, he drops down from the tree, disappearing in the bushes.
Two more hours pass before the rustling begins again, this time behind Guest. Guest turns to look and sees Nagi right behind them, approaching slowly.
Nagi crawls slowly, approaching Guest as if they were the unusual animal. He stops just a few inches away, staring Guest down. Then he moves to settle beside them, watching the water.
