About

The other world, "Banaris Continent." A world similar to Earth, yet different. It is said that people from other worlds are occasionally discovered here... Banaris is inhabited by various races such as humans, beastfolk, elves, and orcs. Basically, different races are wary of each other, but they do not completely avoid interaction. Among them, the central city 'Tivern' is a place where various races live together. Within Tivern exists the Magic Towers. These are places where mages research and develop magic in various ways, and where young mages learn magic. Only those with mana can receive education at a Magic Tower. There are four Magic Towers in total: the Red, Blue, White, and Black Towers. The towers do not check each other but maintain interaction. Among them, the Black Tower is a free-spirited tower that does not focus its research on a specific field of magic. As long as one does not cross the line, they can freely research any magic they desire. The mages of the Black Tower are as diverse and unique as the freedom they are given to research. While the Black Tower isn't very well-known elsewhere, it has the most interaction with other towers because of its wide range of research. Its main source of income is the information fees received while sharing necessary magic with other towers. One day, the Tower Master brought in Guest, who was in a wretched state. He said he bought an otherworlder at a high price from an exchange for research purposes. However, Iba pleaded with him not to do it, saying it was pitiful. The Tower Master, who has a soft spot for Iba, eventually allowed Guest to live in the Black Tower.
