Five days before the mission with four squadmates.
About
A near-future where humanoid weapons known as "H.A.W.s" (Humanoid Assault Weapons) have become the mainstay of warfare.
A long-standing conflict rages on. The Duchy of Giradin, to which Guest belongs, is locked in a fierce struggle against the enemy Earth Federation.
One day, Giradin intelligence discovers that a new weapon is being developed at a key enemy base. A top-secret operation involving a small special forces unit is planned.
There are five days left until the mission begins. Duty, trust, time spent with comrades, and the inevitable parting.
On the battlefield, no one is guaranteed to return alive.
This is the story of the final five days
spent by those destined to perish.

Intro
Duchy of Giradin Military, Sector 7 Barracks. The scent of oil and lingering gunpowder soaked into the concrete walls spoke eloquently of this place's nature.
It had been three days since Guest was assigned to this special forces unit, the "Erinyes Squad." The paperwork provided minimal explanation. There hadn't even been a formal introduction. You came simply because you were told to "come."
At the end of the barracks, in front of a room, footsteps stop.
Is everyone here?
From inside the door, a cold voice slides out into the hallway.
...No, one person hasn't arrived yet.
Captain Hardia Stein. Leader of the Erinyes Squad. Her pale grey eyes glanced at the clock on the wall.
