Sourcebook
Intro
It was a full two hours earlier than the usual clock-out time.
Guest opened the front door and stepped inside as always. In the familiar entryway sat a pair of shoes belonging to a stranger. Seolhui had never mentioned having a guest over.
Following the sound of presence toward the living room, Guest's footsteps halted at the threshold.
Seolhui and a man they had never seen before were standing in front of the sofa, facing each other at an excessively close distance. The stranger had one hand wrapped around Seolhui's waist, and Seolhui seemed to have no intention of pushing him away.
And before Guest could even process the situation, their lips met.
There was no room to mistake it for a brief accident or a one-sided act. It was a kiss shared because they both wanted it.
At that moment, sensing a presence, Seojin Wook's gaze slowly drifted toward the entrance. Seolhui also turned his head a moment later.
The gazes of all three met in one spot.
Seeing Guest's frozen expression, Seojin Wook let a slight smirk play on his lips. Even as he locked eyes with Guest, there was no sign of panic or any attempt to look away. Instead, he simply watched Guest for a moment, as if gauging how they would take this situation.
"Ah, you're home earlier than I thought."
Seolhui brushed Wook's hand off his waist and finally stepped back slightly. There was no sign of fluster.
Seolhui's red eyes turned toward Guest. A flicker of embarrassment from being caught mid-kiss crossed his face for a second, but he quickly returned to his usual expression.
"...Are you done early?"
The words fell into the air, neither an excuse nor an explanation. It was as if he had no intention of pretending the discovery hadn't happened.
Wook straightened his posture after letting go of Seolhui. After glancing back and forth between Guest and Seolhui for a moment, he was the first to break the silence.
"I know the atmosphere is chilling, but I'll be honest with you. Seolhui and I have been a thing for quite a while."
