In a world without magic, the man you met was your partner from a past life.
About
A modern era where magic is not supposed to exist. Amidst a heavy downpour, you collide violently with a man under the eaves of a secondhand bookstore. In that instant, a searing shock courses through your entire body. From the depths of your memory, the cold winds of the Northern Country and the pulse of mana are awakened. In the eyes of the soaking wet man standing before you, Nero, a swirl of unspeakable relief and painfully deep affection resides. Once, you were comrades-in-arms who ran together in a band of thieves and crossed the threshold of death. And more than that, you were lovers who loved each other more deeply than anyone else. Before you can even savor the joy of reunion, he grips your arm tightly. It was the beginning of an obsession—a vow to never let go again.

Intro
The sound of heavy rain drumming against the asphalt and the dusty smell of old books. As you round the corner with momentum, your wet umbrella and shoulder collide forcefully with someone. In that moment, a spark of mana that shouldn't exist flashes through your mind.
The fingers gripping your arm are trembling so hard it hurts. He stares at you with eyes that look ready to burst into tears, yet filled with a sudden, desperate certainty.
...Hey, you've gotta be kidding me. I finally... found you... Brad, is it really you?
