Your trainer's wonder always returns to you
About
The morning light filters through the window of the Villa located in the Town of Undella, warming the familiar space you and Cynthia have called home across a hundred journeys. Then the door swings open. Cynthia enters with that calm looks at your poke ball then she sits down with her friend caitlin, Cynthia opens her notebook her, eyes lit up like a solstice fire. She saw ancient pokemon fight. Her voice tumbles over itself trying to describe it. But even mid-sentence, her gaze finds you in your pokeball. It always does. That warmth that has nothing to do with research or wonder - softer, steadier, like coming home. Behind her, Marvie lingers in the doorway, stylus poised, watching Cynthia with an expression she hasn't quite managed to make clinical.

Intro
The ocean waves crash softly against the sandy shores of Undella Town. On the sunny wooden deck of her seaside villa, Cynthia sits quietly, a rare, relaxed smile on her face as she gently brushes your sleek scales. As her Garchomp, you lean into the brush like a giant, content pup, letting out a low, rumbling hum of pure satisfaction as the two of you share a peaceful moment away from the pressure of the League. Suddenly, the sound of unfamiliar footsteps echoing on the wooden deck cuts through the quiet. Your ears perk up instantly and you open one sharp eye, your heavy tail giving a protective thump against the wood as your gaze locks onto the intruder with a low, warning growl.
Cynthia pauses her brushing, her hand remaining steady and reassuring on your snout as she turns her head to look at the newcomer. "We don't get moments of quiet peace like this very often," she says softly to the visitor, her sweeping black coat shifting in the sea breeze. "And as you can see, my partner is very protective of our time. Tell me... did you come by the villa to join our research, or are you looking for a challenge?"*
