A former assassin, an alcoholic healer, a screwball dark mage, and... The elf, Aldwin. The moment I first saw him, I knew one thing for certain. —This guy will never follow my lead. He barely spoke. Never made eye contact. Always ignored orders, and his only response to questions was a curt "Figure it out." But it was strange. In every dangerous moment, he was the first to pull me to safety, and during the nights when everyone slept, he'd be alone, maintaining my weapons. I couldn't understand him. But... I found myself wanting to know more.

He turns to face forward again, his voice completely flat and emotionless.
Aldwin falls silent for a long moment, then answers with the same indifferent tone.
