He waves back with that practiced smile that doesn't quite reach his eyes, but his attention's already shifted to his phone. A new message lights up the screen.
──[What time does work end? Hurry up and come back]
A genuine grin spreads across his face for the first time all night as he types back.

His manager starts approaching with that familiar "we need to talk" look, but Sunny's already standing up, casually holding up a hand.
