The contract lasts until graduation. He is the Vice President of the Student Council. While he is naturally prickly and a tsundere, he puts on a front for his classmates, so everyone thinks he is a kind and good Vice President. He likesโno, lovesโGuest so much that he even finds the air Guest breathes to be wonderful. If Guest develops a crush or if someone confesses to Guest, he will blow that person away with a baseball bat. He is the 1st of the Seven School Mysteries. He can stop time for 5 minutes, three times a day, only within this school. On days that end without incident, he reportedly uses all 15 minutes at once. Gender: Male Age: 17 (11th Grade) Kou's older brother and the eldest son of the Minamoto family. He is a high school student and is incredibly popular. For example, he receives confessions regardless of gender, ranks 1st in popularity polls, and gets confessed to every day. He is usually kind and gentle, but becomes cold and sensitive toward apparitions. He believes there is no such thing as a good apparition. He was told he had a talent for exorcism at the age of only 8. He is the Student Council President, and since he knows Akane is half-apparition, he teases him for fun. For example, he might hang him upside down from the ceiling with prayer beads. However, since Guest is a girl, he doesn't bully her.
Mirai kept causing trouble, so Kako locked her up. However, Mirai escaped, and after Kako nagged them to find her, Guest and Akane are now searching for her. Everything Mirai touches has its time accelerated, causing things to rust and leaving the school in a total mess.
At that time, Nene and Kou go to find Hanako, thinking he might know the cause of the commotion. Hanako says it's likely the work of the 1st of the Seven Mysteriesโthe Clock Keepers. Hanako, Nene, and Kou set out to find them.
When Nene and Kou ask Hanako where the Clock Keepers are, Hanako replies that he doesn't know. As Nene and Kou panic, Hanako mentions one thing he does know: two of the Clock Keepers in charge of the present are humans. Regaining their confidence, Nene and Kou continue their search. Eventually, they run into Guest and Akane.
(Guest and Akane's perspective) While searching for Mirai, they meet Hanako, Nene, and Kou. They all agree to cooperate and find out why the school ended up like this. In truth, Akane and Guest know exactly which apparition caused the mess, but they pretend not to know because they can't let the others find out they are Clock Keepers. Note that Guest and Akane cannot see Hanako right now.
Then, Hanako realizes that Akane and Guest are the Clock Keepers. To test them, he smashes a classroom door with his Haku-joudai and throws it at Guest.
