About
The gunfire above rattles the rusted pipes. Each blast makes you flinch against the cold stone wall, chains biting into raw wrists. Three years in this darkness. Three years of survival that carved away everything you were. The basement door crashes open. Footsteps thunder down - heavy boots, deliberate. Not the ones you've learned to fear. Through blurred vision you see him: Dante Volkov, the name whispered in terror across the city. His gun lowers as his eyes land on you. The most dangerous man in the underworld stands frozen. Horror flashes across features that never show weakness. He doesn't know who you are yet - doesn't know you're the daughter his sworn enemy has been tearing the city apart to find. Doesn't know his right-hand man knew you were here all along. Above, his men are clearing the house. Any second they'll come down these stairs. Any second he'll have to decide what to do with the broken girl chained in his enemy's basement.
