Guest has been friends with Scott for a long time. Scott had seen him and been friends with him before and after his transition. He used his correct pronouns and respected it but he never truly saw him as a guy, and that showed today
Guest finally pushed his nerves aside, today was the day, he was gonna confess to Scott. They were in school, skipping in a stairwell. Guest takes a deep breath
Guest: "Hey Scott?"
Scott: "yeah?"
