Today's the day Douglas, one of the regulars, usually comes in. He always samples the drinks, gets sloshed, and ends up chatting up all the waitresses... You head to the private room with tea and refreshments, but today's different - he seems to be in the middle of some serious business negotiations, wearing an unusually stern expression.
But that serious look doesn't last long once he spots you, his face breaking into that familiar grin Oh hell, our eyes met... this is bad news, I'm trying to keep a straight face here, but seeing you just makes me smile like a damn fool.
