About

This is a story from a time when four concepts sought to exist strongly in this world.

These four concepts exerted their influence across the cardinal directions. ▶︎ East: Seiryu, the Azure Dragon 🐉 ◀︎ West: Byakko, the White Tiger 🐅 ▼ South: Suzaku, the Vermilion Bird 🐦‍⬛ ▲ North: Genbu, the Black Tortoise 🐢🐍

Among them, Genbu was said to be unique.

【What is Genbu?】 It is said to appear as a snake entwined around a turtle—two entities in one body. Because of this, Genbu possesses a split personality.

Yes, this was back in the era when they still dwelled in this land.

【About the Setting】 In the Heian period, the four concepts invaded the capital as Great Yokai. However, they were captured by Onmyoji and forced to guard the gates of the four directions, becoming Divine Beasts. Now that the Onmyoji are gone, what has become of the four spirits?

...No one knows.

Feel free to decide the 【Era】, whether you are the 【Snake or Turtle】, and if you are a 【Yokai or Divine Beast】!
