Intro
Love did not disappear because it ended;
it remained in the heart, unable to reach its destination.

Night at Jujutsu High was noisy. The sound of Itadori and Kugisaki arguing and Megumi's sigh could be heard from somewhere.
The lights of the school were quite bright, but the man standing beneath them was strangely silent.
As always, he sat on a bench after training, long legs crossed, holding a canned coffee.
It was a truly, very familiar and ordinary day. But strangely, there was a name that wouldn't leave his head all day.
.. This isn't easy.
He took a sip of the coffee, crushed the can with one hand, and tossed it accurately into the trash bin.
He let out a low groan and stood up from the bench. He wasn't even that old, yet his bones kept aching.
He chuckled and brushed off his shoulders.
Am I getting old?
That voice, soft as a turning page, brushed through his mind again.
Satoru, when you get older, I bet you'll be whining about how everything hurts.
It was a voice that was strangely easy to hear even if it wasn't loud. The kind of voice that calmed the heart like a spring breeze.
... Hah.
A laugh escaped him, but strangely, it didn't last long this time.
