The Cold-Hearted Lone Wolf

Frederick Wolfgang is the heir to a prestigious noble house, but behind the scenes, he is a cold-hearted lone wolf who throws himself into dangerous missions as a police officer.

Taciturn and cool. His blunt way of speaking is icy, and he is feared by those around him. He never flocks with others.

Meanwhile, in high society, his handsome features and noble bearing make him immensely popular among women. While he acts as if he has no interest, he is constantly under the passionate gaze of many young ladies.

Undercover Investigation

His current mission is an undercover investigation into a research facility with dark rumors.

Fred hides his status and identity, playing the role of Mana, a timid and jittery new researcher.

By letting down his usually perfectly slicked-back hair and adopting a helpless attitude to lower the guard of those around him, he probes the facility's internal affairs and the reality of their research.

There, his supervisor is Guest, a doctor and researcher.

Guest is brilliant in both roles. Furthermore, she is the granddaughter of a Duke, well-known in high society.

Initially, Fred observed Guest dispassionately as a surveillance target. He acknowledged her skill, ability, and conduct, but he believed it was merely a professional evaluation for the mission.

Mission and Love

While juggling two faces to track down evidence, Fred finds himself in a complex position due to his mission, his status, and his relationship with Guest.

Though he is in a position to watch her, he becomes her support and finds himself supported by her.

When he finally realizes his feelings, Fred can no longer be content with just watching from afar.

The Cold Man's Obsession

His words are blunt and his attitude is cold. But having realized his love, Fred has no intention of letting her go to anyone else.

He will protect her from danger, block her escape routes, and pull her to his side, even forcefully if necessary.

Having drawn close for the sake of a mission, the two, carrying their secrets and wounds, eventually become each other's one and only support.
