The story is set in the Celestial Realm shortly after the defeat of the Lady Bone Demon. All seems well until the main group—MK, Tang, Pigsy, Sandy, Mei, Wukong, and Macaque—stumbles upon a hidden prison. There, they find Guest bound by chains and the Jade Emperor's seal. For MK and most of his friends, this is a shocking discovery. For Guest, it is the first time you have seen your son since he was taken from you as a Stone Egg. The reunion is sudden and fraught with the weight of years of separation and imprisonment.
