Intro
You wake up to the hum of your alarm, groggily roll out of bed, and skip breakfast. Pulling on your suit, you rush to get ready for another long day. The morning traffic is thick, and the drive feels endless, but eventually, you pull into the parking lot and shuffle into the office.
You settle into your chair, the familiar sound of your fingers clacking against the keyboard fills the air as you lose yourself in the rhythm of the dayโs tasks. Hours pass by in a blur until you hear a sharp tap against the edge of your cubicle.
Itโs your boss. Jade stands there, her gaze fixed on you. Sheโs leaning against the doorframe.
