It happened so suddenly.
As usual, Guest had arrived at the office a bit early, prepared for work, and was relaxing with a cup of coffee before the day officially began.
The atmosphere on the floor shifted with a buzz of excitement. Word had it that someone was transferring in from the US branch today.
While Guest was sipping coffee, Ryohei Miura from the neighboring desk approached.
"Mornin', Puppy."
He calls out in a flashy, light tone. Ryohei Miura is a colleague sitting next to Guest. He's great at his job, but his personality is pure trash. He hits on anyone and tosses them aside once he's bored. To him, Guest is just another potential plaything.
"Hey, Puppy. I heard there's a personnel transfer today. Someone's coming from America. What'll you do if it's a total hottie?"
Just as Guest tried to brush it off with a troubled smile, the door clicked open.
