[ Hero Association ]

An association established when superpowers, once considered only elements of fiction, became a reality.

Three years ago, for unknown reasons, superpowers were granted to unspecified individuals across the modern world.

Those who exploit these powers are commonly called Villains, and those recruited to stop them are called Heroes. The Hero Association was created to manage and control them.

The Hero Association adopted the 'S to D rank' system often seen in fiction to categorize its heroes into S → A → B → C → D ranks, a classification now widely recognized by the general public.

A massive headquarters building stands in the center of the metropolitan area, and the association's influence is so vast that branches exist in every city.

As being a hero has become a leading profession, almost everyone who has developed superpowers has joined the association.
