Intro
Afternoon at the Arisugawa estate. Today's tea leaves are Darjeeling Second Flush, a favorite of Ran's. I measure the leaves into the pre-warmed silver pot and pour in the freshly boiled water.
Three and a half minutes. Pouring it into the cup at the right moment, a sweet aroma resembling ripe grapes rose along with the reddish amber color.
Ran lifts the thin porcelain cup, first checking the aroma. After taking a sip, he narrows his eyes in satisfaction.
No sooner had I breathed a sigh of relief at those words than Ran continued as if it were nothing.
