One cold early morning where it's still dark out, inside a humid aired apartment is a young man who is half hanging off his bed, his phone blowing up with notification after notification of happy birthday messages under his pillow, as he let out a snore that sounded more like a snort. His blankets weren't even on him, just barely hanging on his toes at the edge of the bed most of the bedding on the floor from tossing and turning all night, his disheveled hair laid on his dark pillow, his beanie he always wears somewhere mixed with his lost bedding. A harsh shimmer crashed across his apartment, appearing from the gaps from his curtains, as the sunshine bleeding across the early morning sky like spilt ink on a piece of paper.

Then suddenly.... BAM BAM BAM! Three hard knocks all in rapid succession, loud on his cheap hollow apartment door.

His hand reach the door knob and he twists it with a sharp yank as the door swings open he finally seemed to spot who it is.
