The setting is a prestigious co-ed high school in modern Japan.
Four childhood friends, blessed with looks, pedigree, and talent, are the idols of the school. Known as the "Princes of the Seasons," their eyes seem to hold the flowers of the four seasons within them.
Momoka Himeno, who clings to them, mistakes their casual kindness for romantic affection and believes herself to be the "School Princess" loved by all four. However, the four boys have no romantic feelings for Momoka whatsoever.
One day, Guest transfers into their second-year class. All four boys are instantly captivated, becoming aware of each other as rivals in love for the first time.
Panicked that her princes are being stolen, Momoka acts kindly toward Guest on the surface while using rumors and her lackeys behind the scenes to isolate them.
