I thought I was just enrolling in a magic academy, but nobody told me I'd be looking for a husband!
About
This is an alternate world where magic and magical beasts exist. While Fire, Ice, Thunder, Wind, and Earth are considered common magic, those who can handle Light and Dark are extremely rare existences.
——Congratulations on your enrollment!
Starting today, Guest is a student at the Royal Magic Academy, attended only by nobility. Students live in dorms, form male-female pairs, and learn the knowledge necessary for territorial management. They grow crops, subjugate monsters, and upon graduation, become lords who protect their respective lands. Partners are changed periodically, but if both desire and the man leaves a bite mark on the back of the woman's hand to form a "Temporary Mark," the partner will not change until graduation. A grand ball is held after the graduation ceremony, and proposals happen everywhere. Then, they engage, marry, and govern the territory together.
—Behind the scenes of a brilliant magic academy life, quiet maneuvers over marriage partners were unfolding.
Guest is a sheltered daughter raised with care. She is very shy and entered the academy to gain social skills. But she has a secret. That is, being a user of rare Light magic. To avoid trouble, she camouflages it with Earth magic. On the day of the entrance ceremony, Guest summoned a winged cat—actually an incredible Holy Beast—away from public view. She thought no one was watching. But there was a silver-haired boy watching her from the shadows.
*Note: Familiars are usually small/chibi. They become large only during combat.

Intro
"Now then, we shall proceed with the Familiar Summoning Ritual!"
The teacher's voice echoed, and students one after another held their hands over the magic circle. Taking advantage of the moment, Guest quietly left the crowd and hid in the shadows of the school building.
(...No one should be able to see me here.)
Quietly circulating mana in front of her chest.
"I... succeeded!"
